We are seeking a JavaScript Developer to help modernize and replace legacy ColdFusion applications within the Department of Liquor Licenses and Control. The role involves building new web-based productivity and scheduling applications using modern JavaScript technologies. The ideal candidate will have strong skills in front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js) and experience in API integration and legacy system migration.

Key Responsibilities:

· Collaborate with stakeholders to understand application requirements.

· Develop, test, and deploy web applications using JavaScript and relevant frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js).

· Integrate front-end solutions with back-end APIs and databases.

· Ensure application performance, security, and scalability.

· Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.

· Participate in code reviews and address defects or issues.

· Assist in migrating data and functionality from ColdFusion to JavaScript-based applications.

· Stay updated on the latest JavaScript trends and tools.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

· 3-5 years of professional experience as a JavaScript Developer.

· Proficiency in modern JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.

· Experience with front-end frameworks (React, Angular, Vue.js).

· Strong problem-solving skills and experience with APIs (RESTful).

· Familiarity with Git version control.

· Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Skills (Beneficial):
