Job summary

Cencora is seeking a Summer 2027 Intern to apply academic knowledge in a professional setting within the Enterprise Integration Technical Delivery team in Conshohocken, PA. You will work on real initiatives, collaborate with team members and leaders, and develop professional skills during the 2027 internship.

The internship runs from June 7, 2027 to August 13, 2027, in Conshohocken, PA, with opportunities to contribute to Java development, SDLC processes, and documentation.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a degree program related to Computer Science, Software Development, Engineering, Information Technology, etc.
• Rising sophomore, junior, or senior at the time of the internship preferred.
• Must not require sponsorship to work in the United States now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Assist with Enterprise Java web app development.
• Learn our environment to maintain and enhance Java applications used by Distribution Center associates.
• Write JUnit tests and update documentation.
• Assist in making changes to document layouts using OpenText Exstream Cloud Native technology.
• Assist in enhancing Java applications that monitor and manage transactions in the system.

Key Responsibilities Include

• The Java Web Applications & Business Services Intern will assist with Enterprise Java web application development.
• Learn our tech. environment to maintain and enhance our Java applications used by the Distribution Center associates and optimize the application.
• Knowledge in programming languages, preferably Java, databases, application development, SDLC and client server architecture preferred
• work on relational database configuration and connectivity.
• Writing JUNIT cases and updating documentation would also be part of the day-to-day tasks.
• Assist in making changes to document layouts using OpenText Exstream Cloud Native technology.
• Assisting to enhance Java applications that help the EOM team monitor and manage the transactions that flow through the system.

Education And Experience

• Currently enrolled in a degree program related to Computer Science, Software Development, Engineering, Information Technology etc.
• Rising sophomore, junior, or senior at the time of the internship preferred
• Must not require sponsorship to work in the United States now or in the future.

Skills And Knowledge

• Knowledge in programming languages, preferably Java, databases, application development, SDLC and client server architecture preferred
• Highly motivated self-starter with a strong desire to learn.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal, teamwork, and relationship‑building skills.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel,
• PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.
