Job summary

Global Information Technology in Michigan seeks an experienced JAVA Trainer to teach our students on weeknights and weekends, including Saturday sessions. This role involves delivering engaging JAVA/J2EE training in both physical and remote classrooms and adapting to adult learners.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in JAVA/J2EE and Agile, plus strong communication, time management, and presentation skills. Teaching experience is a plus but not required; bachelor's degree preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years JAVA/J2EE development experience.
• 5+ years AGILE development experience.
• Deep JavaScript framework experience such as AngularJS.
• Knowledge of software engineering principles and design patterns.
• Certifications are a plus.
• Excellent presentation skills and the ability to interact professionally with students.
• Strong verbal and written skills.
• Familiarity with adult learning principles and practices.
• Learner-focused service orientation and commitment to quality in content delivery.
• Ability to multitask effectively with strong time management and organizational skills.
