Job summary

TD is seeking a Java Technical Lead in Mount Laurel, NJ to own the technical design and delivery of the System Design Specification for large-scale projects. You will guide architecture decisions and lead end-to-end development efforts.

You will coach team members, collaborate with clients and project teams, and report to a Senior IT Development Manager or higher. Strong Java, Spring, Kafka, Angular, and cloud experience are required.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree or technical certificate; graduate degree preferred.
• 7+ years related experience in software engineering and application support.
• Experience with Java, J2EE and related frameworks.
• Experience with Event Streaming platforms like Kafka.
• Front-end development with Angular and Bootstrap; Node.js.
• SQL/Functions/Procedures in MySQL / MSSQL / Oracle.
• Azure Cloud experience.
• Kubernetes experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and delivery of end-to-end SDS technical solutions for large-scale projects.
• Provide expert technical guidance and coach team members.
• Act as internal expert resource and collaborate with clients and project teams.
• May oversee complex programming and contribute to architecture decisions.
