Responsibilities

• Provide senior-level system analysis, design, development, and implementation of applications and databases.
• Integrate third-party products, APIs, data sources, and services.
• Translate technical specifications into code for complex new development and enhancement projects.
• Develop, test, and maintain code and implement automated testing practices.
• Lead backend system optimization efforts for high performance, scalability, and responsiveness.
• Integrate multiple data sources, APIs, and services to streamline data flow and improve system efficiency.
• Create and maintain detailed backend architecture and technical documentation.
• Implement best practices for security, data protection, and backend resilience.
• Collaborate with front-end teams to design backend interfaces supporting seamless user experiences.
• Promote code through development, test, and production environments and provide production support.
• Submit change-control requests and maintain required documentation.
• Provide technical guidance, mentoring, and support to less-experienced team members.
• Participate in design, code, and test inspections throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Perform systems analysis and communicate technical considerations to internal and cross-functional teams.
• Understand client business functions, technology needs, applications, tools, and development architecture standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate system issues at the appropriate technical level.
• Ensure compliance with Information Technology and Information Security policies and procedures.
• Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum 10 years of experience in software development, system integration, database design, and backend architecture.
• Bachelor's degree (B.E./B.Tech) in Computer Science or a related field, or Master's degree/Diploma in Computer Science.
• Strong expertise in server-side development, system integration, and API management.
• Strong knowledge of database design, optimization, debugging, and performance tuning.
