Job summary

Valiant Technologies LLC is seeking an experienced Full-Stack Engineer / Technical Lead to design, build, and maintain high-performance, enterprise-grade applications across the stack—from Angular frontends to Java/Micronaut microservices on Google Cloud Platform with GKE and AlloyDB.

Lead architecture, enforce code quality and security, implement CI/CD pipelines, and partner with product, DevOps, and QA to deliver scalable, observable systems using OpenAPI, gRPC, and Kubernetes.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of Angular frontend experience (Angular 17+/19 preferred).
• 5+ years of Java backend experience with microservices (Micronaut 4.9.3).
• Deep PostgreSQL or AlloyDB experience with JDBI 3 and Flyway migrations.
• Strong GCP expertise, including GKE and cloud deployments.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, OpenAPI/Swagger, and gRPC.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Cloud Build) and Terraform.

Full-Stack Engineer / Technical Lead

We are looking for an experienced Full-Stack Engineer / Technical Lead to design, build, and maintain high-performance, enterprise-grade applications.

In this role, you will work across our entire stack—from modern web interfaces powered by Angular 19 to lightweight microservices built on Java 23 and Micronaut 4.9.3, deployed on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) using Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE), and backed by AlloyDB (PostgreSQL).

Responsibilities

• Frontend Development Design and develop modern, responsive, and high-performance frontend interfaces using Angular 19.
• Implement state management, reactive programming patterns, and seamless API integrations.
• Backend & Microservices Architect, build, and maintain lightweight, high-throughput microservices using Java 23 and Micronaut 4.9.3 for ultra-fast startup and low memory footprint. Ensure high code quality, security, unit/integration test coverage, and clean RESTful API design with automated, self-documenting APIs using OpenAPI / Swagger.
• Implement robust Authentication & Authorization using OAuth2 and OIDC protocols for enterprise integration and access control across microservices.
• Database Architecture & Management Design, optimize, and manage enterprise relational database models using AlloyDB for PostgreSQL.
• Write efficient SQL queries using JDBI 3 for type-safe database operations, manage version-controlled schema migrations with Flyway, and optimize indexing and throughput for high scale. Cloud Infrastructure & DevOps Deploy, manage, and scale applications on GCP using GKE (Google Kubernetes Engine).
• Configure and maintain Kubernetes Orchestration, Load Balancing, and Auto-scaling policies to ensure 99.99% availability and optimal resource utilization.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, container security, and cloud monitoring/logging.

Requirements

• Frontend: 4+ years of hands-on experience with modern Angular (experience with Angular 17+ or Angular 19 preferred), TypeScript, RxJS, and modern web UI libraries.
• Backend: 5+ years of experience with Java backend engineering (core Java 23), specifically with microservices frameworks like Micronaut 4.9.3 (for ultra-fast startup and low memory usage), along with OAuth2/OIDC security standards.
• Database: Deep experience with PostgreSQL or GCP AlloyDB, including data modeling, type-safe SQL with JDBI 3, version-controlled migrations using Flyway, and performance tuning.
• Cloud & DevOps: Strong expertise with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Hands-on proficiency with Kubernetes (GKE), containerization (Docker), ingress/load balancing, and auto-scaling.
• Core Competencies Deep understanding of microservices architecture, event-driven design, and distributed system trade-offs.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, JSON, automated API documentation using OpenAPI / Swagger specifications, and gRPC.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Cloud Build) and Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform).
• Strong problem-solving skills, architectural ownership, and passion for building scalable systems.
