Job summary

The role requires 7+ years of software development, a TS/SCI clearance with CI Poly, strong leadership, and hands-on expertise in Agile, PI Planning, and Scrum ceremonies.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software development experience with strong expertise in Java.
• Proven experience as a Tech Lead or Team Lead.
• Hands-on experience with Agile methodologies, including PI Planning and Scrum.
• Strong knowledge of task decomposition, sprint planning, and team coordination.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with CI Poly (required).
• Solid understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and modern development practices.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of software engineers on daily tasks and technical direction
• Facilitate PI Planning, Sprint Planning, and other Scrum ceremonies
• Break down features into tasks, assign work, and track progress
• Design, develop, and review complex Java-based applications and services
• Ensure high code quality through code reviews, testing, and best practices
• Collaborate with product owners, stakeholders, and other teams to deliver on commitments
• Remove technical and process blockers for the team
• Provide technical guidance and support career growth for team members
