Job summary

Luxoft Germany in Tampa, FL is seeking an experienced Senior Java Engineer to join an Agile team rewriting an enterprise platform using Angular, Java, and Spring. You will lead the team, design scalable Java applications, and drive architectural decisions across product, QA, and DevOps to deliver a more stable, scalable system.

The role requires deep Java experience (Java 11+), strong Spring Boot and testing skills, and hands-on work with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of team lead experience.
• 10+ years of Java experience (Java 11+).
• Strong knowledge of Spring Boot.
• Experience with SQL databases.
• Familiarity with Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms.
• Solid testing skills (JUnit, Mockito).
• Ability to mentor others and work in Agile teams.
