Job summary

Kforce, Inc is seeking a Java Spring Boot backend developer for Irving, TX. You will build and maintain microservices, design scalable APIs, and collaborate across teams to deliver robust backend solutions.

Responsibilities include testing, bug fixing, and documenting microservices while following the full SDLC. Strong knowledge of Spring Boot, REST, QA tooling, and Agile practices is required.

Qualifications

• Spring Boot experience with backend systems.
• Familiarity with GIT, Swagger, PCF, and Rabbit MQ.
• Expertise in API technologies such as Rest Webservices.
• Unit tests using JUnit, Mockito, or PowerMock.
• Knowledge of JSON and YAML markup.
• Experience with Sonar, Fortify, and WebInspect for quality/security.
• Agile development approach.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy microservices using Spring Boot.
• Carry out unit and integration tests.
• Identify and fix bugs; disseminate knowledge internally.
• Create high-quality, scalable backend solutions.
• Produce documentation for each microservice.
• Ensure SDLC adherence and inter-service communication with databases.

Responsibilities

Kforce has a client in Irving, TX that is seeking a Java Springboot Developer. Responsibilities:

• Work in a fast-paced, project-centered, team-oriented atmosphere
• Visit clients outside of the nation to gather and specify needs
• Create solutions that are high-quality, scalable, and maintainable, with an emphasis on backend systems and related technologies
• Carry out unit and integration tests
• Identifying and resolving bugs
• Produce well-written documentation for each microservice
• Make sure you've developed enough test cases to ensure the design criteria are satisfied
• Constantly educate yourself on new approaches and technology
• Disseminate your expertise inside the organization
• Communicate with other developers
• Creating and deploying microservices using the Spring Boot framework
• Adherence to the whole Software Development Life Cycle
• Interconnecting microservices with databases

Requirements

• Spring Boot experience
• Familiarity with software development design patterns: GIT, Swagger, PCF, and Rabbit MQ
• Expertise in API technologies such as Rest Webservices
• Previous experience writing unit tests with JUnit, Mockito, or PowerMock
• Knowledge of markup languages such as JSON and YML
• Working knowledge of quality and security scan technologies such as Sonar, Fortify, and WebInspect
• Knowledge of the Agile approach

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
