Accenture Flex offers local fixed-duration project work and is onsite in the Virginia area with occasional travel to Vienna, VA. We seek a senior Java developer with 6+ years of hands-on experience, strong Java 17 knowledge, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and cloud experience on Azure or AWS.

You will build scalable backend services, containerized deployments with Docker and Kubernetes, and work in an Agile team across product, QA, and architecture to deliver secure, high-performance applications.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of hands-on Java development with Java 17 and design patterns.
• Expertise in Spring Boot and microservices; RESTful API design andSwagger/OpenAPI.
• Cloud experience on Azure or AWS; containerized deployments using Docker/Kubernetes.
• Relational DB experience (DB2, Oracle, Azure SQL Server) and SQL tuning.
• Strong Agile Scrum experience; collaboration across product, QA and architecture.
• High School Diploma or GED.

Basic Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of hands-on Java development experience with strong knowledge of Java 17 21 object oriented design multithreading collections and design patterns
• Expertise in Spring Boot and Microservices Architecture Spring Boot Spring MVC Spring Data JPA Spring Security etc. including development of scalable resilient and secure backend services
• Strong experience building RESTful APIs with API documentation tools such as Swagger OpenAPI and integration with enterprise applications
• Cloud experience on Azure or AWS including containerized deployments using Docker and Kubernetes
• Database expertise with relational databases DB2 Oracle AzureSQL Server and performance tuning of queries and services
• Strong Agile Scrum team experience including sprint planning story refinement code reviews automated testing JUnit Mockito and collaboration across product QA and architecture teams
• High School Diploma or GED
