Job summary

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience across design, development, testing, and operations.
• Proficient in Java, Spark Framework and SQL querying languages.
• Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle.
• Experience working in an Agile Software Development Environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain applications using Apache Spark and Java.
• Work with Spark ecosystem including Datasets, Spark SQL and scalability support.
• Collaborate with business analysts and lead engineers to translate requirements into software solutions.
• Optimize Spark applications to process millions of data elements daily.
• Provide production support and troubleshoot Spark applications.
