Qualifications

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 3 years' applied experience.
• Experience in Data Engineering domain.
• Hands-on practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
• Proficient in coding in one or more languages including Java.
• Experience developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a corporate environment with Java, Spark Framework, and SQL.
• Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle and Agile development.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain applications using Apache Spark and Java.
• Collaborate with business analysts and lead engineers to implement software solutions.
• Improve performance of Spark applications processing large data volumes.
• Provide production support and troubleshoot Spark issues.
