Momentum Engineering, Inc. seeks a Software Engineer to support a Java-based software development effort in an Agile environment.

You will work with modern technologies like Quarkus and PrimeFaces and contribute across design, development, installation, testing, and quality activities to meet mission requirements. The ideal candidate will collaboratively expand Java development skills while addressing timing and resource constraints, and will work with customers and stakeholders to refine

Formación

• Active Top Secret/SCI clearance with NSA Full Scope Polygraph.
• Seven (7) years of Software Engineer experience on programs/contracts of similar scope.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline from an accredited college or university.
• Four (4) additional years of Software Engineering experience on projects with similar software processes may substitute for the degree.
• Experience designing or implementing complex algorithms with timing/resource/interface constraints.
• Experience performing software quality control or peer review activities.
• Experience supporting software installation, integration, and operational validation.
• Experience working with customers or technical stakeholders to derive and refine software requirements.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, enhance, and maintain software applications using Java.
• Participate in Agile software development activities, including requirements analysis, task planning, implementation, testing, and status tracking.
• Design and implement complex algorithms while adhering to timing, system resource, and interface constraints.
• Perform quality control reviews of software products developed by the team.
• Implement recommendations for improving software documentation and development process standards.
• Collaborate with team members and the customer to derive software requirements and understand project limitations, system capabilities, performance requirements, and interfaces.
• Develop and maintain software that meets documented technical and operational requirements.
• Monitor system and equipment functions to ensure operational specifications are met.
• Support troubleshooting, software integration, and problem resolution activities.
• Develop and maintain technical and software documentation.
• Participate in peer reviews, technical discussions, and continuous improvement activities.
