Foxconn Industrial Internet - FII is seeking a Software Engineer (Java) to join our Houston team. In this position, you will develop and maintain crucial business applications and APIs while supporting software across the organization.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, experience with Java and Spring Boot, and strong SQL database skills, especially with Oracle. This full-time role is onsite in Houston.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience with Java and Spring Boot.
• Experience with SQL databases (preferably Oracle).
• Experience developing REST APIs.
• Familiarity with Git version control.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Design and support REST APIs.
• Write and maintain SQL queries and database objects.
• Troubleshoot and fix software issues.
• Work with business users to understand requirements.
