Job summary

Captivation Software is seeking a mid-level software engineer with strong Java experience to contribute to knowledge management and data curation. You will perform ETL on enterprise data and engage with the GhostMachine Portable Map Reduce analytics framework within a collaborative team.

The role includes leveraging Claude Code AI to speed up development, and requires eligibility for a Top Secret/SCI clearance with a favorable polygraph, as well as U.S. citizenship.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 7 years experience as a Software Engineer in programs of similar scope and complexity.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline is required.
• Four years of SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.

Responsibilities

• Perform ETL processes on enterprise-wide data.
• Engage in knowledge management and data curation efforts.
• Work with GhostMachine Portable Map Reduce analytics framework.
• Collaborate within a team and leverage Claude Code AI to accelerate development.
