The Boeing Company in Herndon, VA seeks a Java Software Engineer (Associate/Experienced) to design, develop, and maintain multi-tier software systems for the Denali program. You will work with systems and test engineers to implement scalable Java applications, cloud services, and CI/CD pipelines in a regulated environment.
Ideal candidates have Java and cloud experience, familiarity with Agile practices, and hands-on work with Docker and Kubernetes.
The Boeing Company is currently seeking a Java Software Engineer (Associate/Experienced) with experience in software engineering and architecting to support the Denali Software team located in Herndon, Virginia. This position will focus on supporting the Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) software engineering organization. The Denali software team is a dynamic group of curious, bold, and innovative software engineers striving for excellence in delivering quality products to end users. The software team is executing this vision through modern software technologies (Java, CI/CD pipelines) and methodologies (Scaled Agile). The ideal candidate is a self-motivated, high-performing software engineer with an aptitude for designing, developing, and maintaining complex multi-tiered application software systems. The software engineer will work day-to-day with a team of systems engineers, test engineers, and other software engineers to execute future vision.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
