Job summary

Turing is seeking a Software Engineering evaluator in a flexible contractor role based in the United States or nearby regions. You will curate code examples and provide precise solutions primarily in Java, and in Python, JavaScript (ReactJS), C/C++, Rust, and Go, to advance AI model training and benchmarking.

You will evaluate AI-generated code for efficiency and reliability, build verification agents, and collaborate with researchers and cross-functional teams to push enterprise-grade coding

Qualifications

• 3+ years of software engineering experience
• Experience building full-stack, production-grade software
• Strong understanding of software architecture, design, development, debugging, and code quality/review assessment
• Excellent oral and written communication skills for clear, structured evaluation rationales

Responsibilities

• Curate code examples and provide precise solutions primarily in Java, and in Python, JavaScript (ReactJS), C/C++, Rust and Go
• Evaluate and refine AI-generated code to ensure it is efficient, scalable, and reliable
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance AI-driven coding solutions against industry benchmarks
• Build agents that verify the quality of code and identify error patterns
• Hypothesize on software engineering cycle steps (prototyping, architecture design, API design, production implementation, launch, experiments, monitoring) and evaluate model capabilities on them
• Design verification mechanisms that automatically verify solutions to software tasks
