Hudson Gate Partners is seeking a Java Software Engineer for a multi-strategy investment firm based in NYC. The role involves working on infrastructure and data platforms within a centralized Data Imports team, contributing to a major overhaul of data architecture using open source platforms such as Apache, Spark, and Trino.

Responsibilities:

1. Manage and improve system infrastructure.
2. Develop and maintain system monitoring tools.
3. Build and optimize data import pipelines.
4. Work on a proprietary time-series data platform.
5. Develop and support user-facing Python APIs.
6. Ensure compliance with FINRA-CAT reporting requirements.
7. Develop and maintain volatility trading tools.
8. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance system efficiency.
9. Troubleshoot and resolve system and application issues.
10. Document technical processes and configurations.

Qualifications:
