Job summary

W3R Consulting is seeking a seasoned software engineer to join our enterprise development team in a fast-paced environment. You will modify existing code, build new components, analyze requirements, test, deploy, and maintain complex applications across Azure and on-premise environments.

The role requires strong Java/JavaScript skills, experience with large-scale systems, and excellent communication to collaborate with cross-functional teams while following established development methodologies

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years experience.
• Bachelor or Master degree in computer science preferred.
• Experience in financial services or captive auto finance is a strong plus.
• Demonstrating strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Application development experience in large scale enterprise environments is essential.
• Problem-solving and critical thinking skills.

• Self-motivated and able to work autonomously when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Modify existing application code or build new components from detailed requirements.

• Participation in most aspects of programming and application development, including file design, update, storage, and retrieval
• Ability to maintain the developed solution on an on-going basis is essential
• Formulate concepts, define system scope and technical objectives based on user needs; requires very good written and verbal communication skills, ability to grasp business concepts, and possesses skills to build a vision
• Enhance processes to resolve operational problems and add new functions considering schedule, resource constraints, process complexity, dependencies, assumptions and application structure
• Candidate is required to follow the existing development methodology and coding standards, and ensure compliance with the internal and external regulatory requirements
• May guide various groups on application systems activities
• Work under general directions; typically reports to a team lead or supervisor/manager

• Code deployment and code versioning tools
• Experience in deploying and troubleshooting application withing Azure cloud env
• Experience in developing batch script and configuring it in R11 and Azure
• Experience in using AI productivity tool for development
