Job description

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Senior Java Software Engineer for a 6-month contract role with our client in Eagan, MN. This position is 100% remote.

Summary:

The Senior Java Developer, part of the RebateArc team, will serve as a Full-Stack developer. The role involves working with the Vendor Integration and Claim Intake and Routing team on a fully cloud-based application that manages claim intake from GCP to RebateArc, applies rules, and routes claims to vendors or downstream processes. The team also handles response files from vendors and communicates downstream information through RebateArc.

Responsibilities include:

1. Consulting with business users, analysts, technical leads, and project managers to define specifications and timelines.
2. Documenting user needs, system design, program functions, and modifications, ensuring specifications meet requirements.
3. Analyzing and documenting data requirements, workflows, system interfaces, and controls.
4. Developing, coding, testing, debugging, and installing applications, following change control processes.
5. Collaborating to develop and implement acceptance testing to ensure requirements are met.
6. Mentoring less experienced staff in various development phases.
7. Maintaining communication on project status with team leads and management.
8. Performing other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience and education.

Compensation:

• Hourly W2 pay rate of $75.00 to $85.00/hr.
