Job summary

Infosys Limited is actively seeking a Technology Consultant 2 to contribute to engineering initiatives, drive requirements elicitation, design discussions, and hands-on development of scalable enterprise telecom applications. You will work across the SDLC with a focus on delivering robust software and maintaining system stability.

The role emphasizes implementing test strategies, coordinating bug fixes, and enabling smooth transitions to new software through training and support materials.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in a related field.
• Experience with ReactJS, Java, and Spring Boot for enterprise applications.
• Hands-on ForgeRock IAM solutions experience (authentication, authorization, SSO).
• Proficiency with Python for automation and integrations.
• Strong SQL skills and data analysis capabilities.
• Experience with cloud-native architectures and containerized deployments.

Responsibilities

• Document assigned parts of business requirements and guide technical design discussions.
• Participate in coding and integrate new features into existing applications with focus on stability.
• Conduct code reviews and maintain code repositories.

In the assigned Job Role of Technology Consultant 2, your Area Of Responsibility will be as below:

• Contribute to the requirements elicitation process by documenting assigned parts of business requirements, in line with guidance provided
• Facilitate software application design discussions, and document design decisions to guide the technical team towards building software solutions
• Participate in coding and integrate new features or updates into existing applications, with a focus on maintaining system stability
• Conduct code reviews, do changes to the codebase and maintain code repositories
• Implement test strategies, analyse results, and coordinate bug fixes to uphold the software quality standards
• Develop user training programs, documentation, and support frameworks to ensure a smooth transition to new software applications
• Actively participate in resolving production issues and recommend preventive strategies to enhance system reliability
• Maintain detailed records of code, testing techniques, and support activities to enrich the knowledge base and assist other similar projects

Required Skill and Experience

Strong hands-on experience in ReactJS, Java, and Spring/Spring Boot for developing scalable enterprise and telecom applications.
Expertise in designing, developing, and supporting Java Microservices and RESTful APIs.
Strong experience with ForgeRock IAM solutions, including authentication, authorization, SSO, identity federation, OAuth 2.0, and OpenID Connect.
Proficiency in Python for automation, scripting, integrations, and operational tooling.
Strong knowledge of SQL including complex query development, database design, performance tuning, and data analysis.
Experience working within Telecom OSS environments supporting service provisioning, network inventory, activation, service fulfillment, and assurance processes.
Strong understanding of microservices architecture, application integration, security best practices, and distributed systems.

Preferred Skill and Experience

Experience integrating ForgeRock with Telecom OSS/BSS, CRM, and customer-facing digital platforms.
Knowledge of telecom service lifecycle management, network operations, and OSS modernization initiatives.
Exposure to cloud-native architectures and containerized deployments using Docker and Kubernetes.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and automated deployment frameworks.
Familiarity with event-driven architectures, messaging platforms, and API Gateway implementations.
Experience with monitoring, logging, and performance optimization tools.
Strong stakeholder management, technical leadership, and production support experience.

Additional Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
