Job Description:
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the technology platform (Java, MS SQL Server, Oracle, Unix, Dynatrace or App Dynamics). Identify potential production issues, create incident tickets, and communicate effectively with development and business teams.
- 5+ years of relevant IT experience (Production Support, ITIL, Release Support, Technical Implementations, or equivalent).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Proven knowledge in Java/J2EE, JDBC, EJB, Java Web Services.
- Experience with server-side technologies such as SOAP/Restful services, XML/XSLT, JDBC, AOP, MQ, Microservices, MuleSoft.
- Strong knowledge of Middleware components like Message Broker, IBM Websphere MQ, JBoss, MuleSoft.
- Proficiency in Unix and Windows operating systems, including scripting skills.
- Experience with Splunk, Oracle, DB2, and PL/SQL query performance tuning.
- Knowledge of event-driven and batch processes.
- Experience in various production support roles (L1/L2/L3) and using monitoring/scheduling tools.
- Provide front-line technical support for incident/problem management, deployment, and operational readiness.
- Conduct troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and implement mitigations.
- Handle real-time restoration and triaging of issues impacting services, communicating progress to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with infrastructure and testing teams during releases and upgrades.
