Job description

Developer with JAVA and SQL Knowledge is responsible for L3 Support and bug fixes for cases in L3 Production support, handling Data Patches, fixes, and clarifications. Capable of in-depth analysis and coding fixes. Familiar with production support processes and able to communicate effectively with the Customer Support team to address technical queries. Experience in the P&C Insurance domain is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Analyze production support issues and support fixes as part of the L3 Support team.
• Prepare Data patches and release them through the proper process.
• Conduct root cause analysis for Data Patch cases and code fixes.
• Perform in-depth analysis of reported issues and implement code fixes.
• Participate in customer calls alongside the customer support lead, addressing technical queries.
• Collaborate effectively within and across teams.
• Adhere strictly to the production support process.

Requirements and Skills

• Strong hands-on knowledge of Java and related frameworks.
• Proficiency in Oracle PL/SQL, with experience in writing complex SQL queries.
• Knowledge of Web Services (SOAP, REST) and API integrations.
• Excellent analytical and debugging skills.
• Ability to address critical fixes within SLA and suggest workarounds.
• Experience in Production Support and related processes.
• Experience in Insurance domain, especially Property & Casualty, Life/Health, or Annuity Insurance products.
• Experience in Insurance or Banking domains.
• Excellent communication skills, as the role is remote.

Working Hours

• 14:00 - 22:00 IST (aligned to EMEA time zone)
• 17:00 - 02:00 IST (aligned to EST time zone)
