Job summary

Intelliforce-IT Solutions Group is seeking a Software Engineer specializing in Java platform integration to advance mission software. You will modernize, containerize, and deploy Java applications across evolving platforms, while working closely with operations, security, and mission stakeholders.

The role emphasizes ownership from development to containerized deployment, problem solving, and robust integration across systems.

Qualifications

• Clearance: Top Secret with Full Scope Polygraph, active; no sponsorship.
• US Citizenship required; visas cannot be sponsored.
• 20 years of software engineering on similar programs.
• Bachelor’s degree or 4 additional years of experience in lieu.
• Five years cloud experience with distributed data technologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and update Java-based software.
• Refactor code for maintainability and interoperability.
• Debug and fix software issues.
• Build Docker containers for deployment.
• Create and update Helm charts for packaging.
• Support deployments in Kubernetes environments.
• Work with Terraform-based infrastructure and deployment workflows.
• Support build, integration, testing, and deployment activities.
• Collaborate with software, systems, security, and testing teams.
• Document technical details and operational procedures.
