Job summary

Avanciers Inc. is seeking an experienced Senior Solution Architect to drive end-to-end OSS/BSS transformations for telecom clients. You will combine frontend skills with backend microservices, RESTful APIs, and cloud-native patterns to deliver scalable enterprise applications.

Leadership of architecture reviews, design decisions, and offshore/onshore teams will be essential, as will strong client-facing communication and Agile delivery expertise.

Qualifications

• Extensive OSS domain expertise with service fulfillment, service assurance, inventory, order management, and provisioning.
• Proficiency in front-end frameworks like Angular and/or React.
• Experience designing RESTful APIs and microservices-based systems.
• Strong cloud-native architecture and containerization knowledge (Docker, Kubernetes/OpenShift).
• Hands-on CI/CD experience with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.
• Database experience across Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, and NoSQL technologies.
• Deep understanding of OSS integrations, middleware, API gateways, and event-driven design.
• Experience leading solution architecture, design reviews, and dev teams.
• Familiarity with TM Forum Open APIs and telecom standards.
• Strong Agile/Scrum delivery and stakeholder communication skills.

Job description

Location: Richardson, TX/Cary, NC/Ashburn VA/Basking Ridge, NJ- Hybrid- 3 days onsite every week

Required Skill and Experience

Strong Telecom OSS (Operations Support Systems) domain expertise with hands-on experience in service fulfillment, service assurance, inventory management, order management, and network provisioning.

Full Stack application architecture and development experience using:

Frontend: Angular and/or React

RESTful API design and development

Experience designing and implementing microservices-based enterprise applications.

Strong knowledge of cloud-native architecture and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes/OpenShift).

Experience with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.

Database experience with Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, and NoSQL technologies.

Strong understanding of OSS integrations, middleware, API gateways, and event-driven architectures.

Experience leading solution architecture, technical design reviews, and development teams.

Familiarity with TM Forum Open APIs and telecom industry standards.

Preferred Skill and Experience

Experience with BSS/OSS transformation programs for Tier-1 telecom providers.

Exposure to Telecom technologies such as:

Experience with cloud platforms:

AWS

Experience implementing observability solutions using Splunk, ELK, Grafana, Prometheus, Dynatrace, or AppDynamics.

Knowledge of Kafka, RabbitMQ, and event-streaming platforms.

Exposure to AI/ML-enabled network operations, predictive maintenance, and network automation initiatives.

DevSecOps and security architecture experience.

TOGAF, SAFe, AWS/Azure Architect, or TM Forum certifications.

Experience with offshore/onshore team leadership and large-scale digital transformation programs.

Additional Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
