Job summary

SFE in Tampa, FL is seeking a Java Developer to design, develop, and maintain microservices in a fast-paced enterprise environment. You will work across CI/CD pipelines, implement RESTful APIs, and collaborate with BAs, architects, QA, and DevOps to ensure high availability and performance.

You should have strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data, Kafka, MongoDB, OpenShift/AWS, and SQL queries for transactional and reporting use cases.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on Java development experience.
• Experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC and Spring Data.
• Proven ability to design and maintain microservices and REST APIs.
• Experience with Kafka, OpenShift/AWS, and MongoDB.
• Ability to optimize SQL queries for transactional and reporting use cases.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Java-based microservices.
• Implement RESTful APIs following enterprise standards.
• Develop and optimize SQL queries for transactional and reporting needs.
• Collaborate with BA, Architects, QA, and DevOps.
• Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and defect resolution.
• Support CI/CD pipelines, deployments, and production issues.
• Follow secure coding and compliance standards.
