Job summary

Prophecy Technologies Corp in the United States seeks an accomplished software engineer to build and evolve large-scale, reactive microservices using Java, Spring Boot, Scala, and Go. You will design cloud-native services deployed on Kubernetes in public clouds (GCP and Azure) with a focus on fault tolerance and testability.

You will work across SQL/NoSQL databases (Oracle, Cassandra, Cosmos DB), drive performance tuning, multithreading, and robust testing with Mockito and JUnit.

Qualifications

• 6-8 years of experience building highly scalable, fault-tolerant, reactive microservices.
• Expert-level knowledge of Java and Spring Boot.
• Experience with Kubernetes ecosystems and cloud environments (GCP and Azure).
• Proficiency in RESTful architecture and distributed systems.
• Strong testing proficiency with Mockito and JUnit.
• Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases such as Oracle, Cassandra, Cosmos DB.

Responsibilities

• Build n-tier, scalable, fault-tolerant microservices using Java, Scala, Go, Camel, and Spring.
• Develop reactive microservices deployed in Kubernetes across public clouds (GCP, Azure).
• Design cloud-native applications with high performance and fault tolerance.
• Ensure testability and comprehensive test coverage of products.
• Work with SQL/NoSQL databases like Oracle, Cassandra, Cosmos DB.
• Leverage research and innovation to improve technology environments and systems.
