Job Title: Java Lead Developer (Hybrid)

Location: New York

Duration: Full-time with Cognizant

Job Responsibilities

1. 10+ years of Java development experience
2. Hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, and AWS
3. Manage client engagement from Onshore effectively
4. Knowledge of SAML2.0, OAuth, and API protection
5. Experience with Authentication and Integration
6. Handling performance tuning and load testing findings
7. Addressing vulnerability and penetration testing fixes
8. End-to-end migration activities over legacy applications
9. Strong logical and analytical skills on applications
10. Knowledge of NFRs and feature-based work processes
11. Passion for learning and sharing knowledge with the team
12. Strong skills in Java 8, Spring, Spring Boot
13. Proactive approach to tasks, asking questions, and ownership
14. Debugging skills using monitoring tools and logs for RCA
15. Jenkins CI/CD experience (nice to have)
16. Good communication and presentation skills

This position is eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance.
