Position: Java Kubernetes Admin

Job Description

We are hiring for Software Engineer with expertise in Java development & Kubernetes Admin to assist Team. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, eager to learn, and comfortable following established runbooks and processes. You will help validate dashboards and alerts, run and monitor migration scripts, and support the observability team's day-to-day operations.

Responsibilities
  • Validate dashboards and alerts, run and monitor migration scripts, and support the observability team's day-to-day operations.
  • Assist in setting up and administering Kubernetes environments and clusters, including AWS cloud platform integration.
  • Contribute to automation and CI/CD processes and participate in DevOps practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand complex architectures.
Required Qualifications and Skills
  • Primary Skills: AWS Services, Kubernetes (Administration & Operators), Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, REST API, Apache Kafka, Terraform, Ansible, Helm
  • Secondary Skills: Docker/Container tooling
  • Experience with object-oriented programming (Java/J2EE) and containerization tools (Kubernetes, EKS)
  • Experience setting up Kubernetes environments and clusters from scratch; strong administration and AWS cloud platform proficiency (including CloudFormation, Terraform, etc.)
  • Scripting proficiency (Python, Bash, or Go)
  • Automation tools (Ansible), DevOps processes, and CI/CD pipelines
  • Strong knowledge of Kubernetes, EKS, Docker, and Helm
  • Proficiency with Spring Framework (Spring Boot, microservices, REST API) and messaging services
  • Ability to understand complex architectures and collaborate across teams
  • CKA/CKS certification is a plus

Experience: 5-8 years.

Compensation & Benefits

Expected annual pay ranges from $60,000 to $135,000. Role is eligible for Wipro’s standard benefits including medical and dental benefits, disability insurance, paid time off (including sick leave), and other paid/unpaid leave options.
