Trigyn Technologies, Inc. in Albany, NY seeks a Java/JEE Architect to design and guide the implementation of large and small scale software systems for a government client. The consultant will oversee analysis and design of enterprise applications using JAVA/JEE, JSF, XML, XSLT.

This role requires leading SDLC activities, implementing coding standards, and guiding QA processes with security scans and performance testing; strong architectural and independent-working skills are essential.

Responsabilités

• Provide oversight on the analysis and design for enterprise applications using JAVA/JEE, JSF, XML, XSLT.
• Guide in the development of applications through the SDLC, including legacy redesign.
• Implement standards related to UI, development methodology, and coding/style guides.
• Develop QA processes including code reviews, performance testing, security scans.
• Identify and elevate technical risks and issues appropriately.
• Guide development activities including data analysis, structures, and database models.
• Prepare or review technical documentation such as system architecture designs and schemas.

Trigyn's direct government client has an immediate need for Java / JEE Architect in Albany, NY.

Description:

The consultant will design and assist with the implementation of both small and large-scale software systems.

This individual will be expected to provide expertise and guide development efforts in the following activities:

• Provide oversight on the analysis and design for enterprise applications using JAVA/JEE, JSF, XML, XSLT;
• Expected to guide in the development of applications throughout the SDLC, including the redesign of legacy applications;
• Implement standards related to application technologies, including UI standards, development methodology, and coding and style guides;
• Develop and guide quality assurance processes including code reviews, performance testing, security scans, and adherence to industry, state, and federal standards;
• Identify and elevate technical risks and issues appropriately;
• Guide and engage in development activities which may include data analysis, data structures, data manipulation, and preparing logical database models.
• Prepare, and/or review technical documentation such as system architecture designs, schemas, solution proposals, as appropriate.

Mandatory Qualifications:

• Makes high-level design choices and dictates technical standards, including software coding standards, tools, and platforms. Designs multi-leveled architecture or component interactions of a large-scale software system.
• Candidate is able to work independently, without assistance and provides guidance to others. May have an advanced education.
• 60 months of experience designing and implementing highly available and scalable multitier applications using Object Oriented or Service Oriented Architecture involving data structures, algorithms, software design and JEE Design Patterns.
• 48 months of experience creating technical designs and developing and deploying applications in either of the following: IBM WebSphere Application servers, IBM WebSphere Portal Server.
• 60 months of experience developing applications that are implemented with JAVA Development Kit (JDK 1.6 or higher).
• 60 months of experience in developing applications using JMS, EJB, MQ, JSF, JAXB, JAXWS, JPA (or Hibernate).
• 60 months of experience with Oracle 10g or higher including coding with PL/SQL.
• 36 months of experience Criminal Justice\Fingerprinting Projects.
