Job summary

Trigyn Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Java/J2EE Developer for an on-site role in Albany, NY. The candidate will develop Java web applications, interpret specifications, and participate in design discussions with cross-functional teams to implement robust software solutions.

The role requires extensive experience across the full software development lifecycle, including mentoring staff and providing end-user support as needed. ISO 27001:2022 and CMMI Level 5 certified company.

Qualifications

• 84 months of Java application software development for data access and databases.
• 48 months FileNet Suite development experience.
• 60 months helping design program specifications for software solutions.
• 60 months experience with J2EE design patterns for complex problems.
• 84 months WebSphere/JBOSS EAS, Red Hat Linux administration, and mainframe integration.
• 84 months analyzing business processes with non-technical staff to develop specifications.
• 48 months XML and web services in a J2EE environment.
• 60 months testing/implementation and documentation, software conversions.
• 24 months Java solutions with LDAP/Okta web security protocols.
• 48 months configuration management for Java applications.

Responsibilities

Job description

Trigyn's direct government client has an immediate need for Java / J2EE Developer in Albany, NY.

Description:

• Perform Java web application development
• Participate in team meetings, discuss development specifications, and contribute ideas and thoughts
• Interpret program specifications and use cases and develop solutions using a Java IDE
• Prepare technical documentation, solution prototypes, conduct demonstrations of work in progress
• Provide mentoring to staff and other contract resources in all tools as required
• Provide troubleshooting and end-user support and problem resolution.

Mandatory Qualification:

• Is involved with all facets of the software development process, including the research, design, programming, testing and implementation of computer software.
• Candidate is able to provide guidance to large teams and/or has extensive industry experience and is considered at the top of his/her field.
• 84 months experience with writing Java application software for data access, data structures, data manipulation and databases.
• 48 months development experience in the FileNet Suite of products.
• 60 months assisting and/or leading in the design of program specifications to implement software solutions.
• 60 months experience with application standard design patterns (J2EE) to solve complex business problems.
• 84 months experience providing WebSphere and JBOSS Enterprise Application Server services, Red Hat Enterprise Linux administration and mainframe integration development experience.
• 84 months experience analyzing business processes and workflows and working with non-technical staff to develop system specifications and resolve problems.
• 48 months experience with use of XML and web services in a J2EE environment.
• 60 months performing testing and implementation, and preparing technical and user documentation, software conversions.
• 24 months experience working with/developing Java solutions with a Web security protocol using LDAP and Okta.
• 48 months experience in configuration management utilities for Java applications.
