Responsibilities

• Design, develop, enhance, and maintain enterprise web applications using Java/J2EE and modern development frameworks.
• Develop responsive user interfaces using HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, and Angular or similar frontend frameworks.
• Build and maintain backend services, RESTful APIs, and microservices using Spring and Spring Boot.
• Develop and optimize database queries, stored procedures, and database interactions using Microsoft SQL Server and/or Oracle.
• Maintain and troubleshoot existing applications, investigate production defects, and perform root-cause analysis.
• Deploy, configure, and troubleshoot Java applications running on Apache Tomcat.
• Write clean, reusable, maintainable, and well-documented code following established development standards.
• Develop unit tests, participate in code reviews, and perform appropriate regression testing before releasing changes.
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools to accelerate coding, debugging, documentation, test generation, and code analysis.
• Review and validate AI-generated code to ensure functional correctness, security, performance, and compliance with project requirements.
• Collaborate with project managers, QA engineers, implementation teams, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
• Participate in technical design discussions, estimate development tasks, identify risks, and communicate progress and technical issues.
• Guide junior developers, share technical knowledge, and contribute to improving development practices and team productivity.
• Support application deployment, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement activities.

• Experience with Jasper Reports or similar reporting frameworks.
• Experience with Apache Lucene, Apache Solr, or similar search technologies.
• Knowledge of AWS services such as Amazon EC2, Amazon S3, AWS Lambda, and AWS Elastic Beanstalk.
• Familiarity with CI/CD practices and tools such as Jenkins or AWS CodeBuild.
• Experience with Git-based version control, automated testing, and deployment workflows.
• Knowledge of application security, authentication, authorization, and secure API development.
• Experience maintaining legacy applications while introducing modern frameworks, services, or development practices.
