Job summary

Talentify is seeking a seasoned Java Fullstack Developer for our Chicago, IL location to drive backend and frontend enhancements in Payments and related domains. You will shape technical direction, review code, mentor teammates, and own delivery of secure, scalable enterprise solutions.

The role requires deep Java expertise (8/11/17), Spring Boot, microservices, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), with leadership experience in banking/financial services environments.

Qualifications

• Strong expertise in Core Java (8/11/17), Spring Boot Microservices, Spring Security, Oracle, SQL Server, MongoDB, AWS, and Azure.
• Hands-on experience with secure, scalable enterprise applications across Banking/Financial Services using cloud-native microservices.
• Ability to lead development teams, perform code reviews, mentor juniors, and drive end-to-end solution delivery.

Responsibilities

Our client, a IT Services and Consulting company, is looking for a Java Fullstack developer for their Chicago, IL location.

Responsibilities:

• Java Full stack developer to implement Application enhancements in TSFX + Currency Expans area.
• Responsible for implementing application enhancements in the Payments domain
• Participating in all phases of the SDLC including requirements analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and production support.

Requirements:

• The top 3 skills: Java, Spring Boot, Kafka, Oracle, Microservices, Kubernetes, cloud-native development, and QA Automation
• The candidate should possess strong expertise in Core Java (8/11/17), Spring Boot Microservices, Spring Security, Oracle, SQL Server, MongoDB, AWS, and Azure, with deep knowledge of OOP concepts, Collections Framework, Multithreading, Concurrency, Exception Handling, Functional Programming (Lambda & Streams), SOLID Principles, and Design Patterns.
• Must have hands-on experience building secure, scalable, and high-performance enterprise applications across Banking and Financial Services domains, leveraging cloud-native architectures and microservices.
• The role requires strong leadership capabilities to lead development teams, perform code reviews, mentor junior developers, drive technical discussions, collaborate with business stakeholders, and take end-to-end ownership of solution delivery while ensuring adherence to coding standards, best practices, and enterprise architecture guidelines.
