Synechron is seeking a Java Full Stack Application Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable enterprise applications in Newark, DE. The role requires strong experience with Java 17+, Spring Boot, microservices, Kafka, NoSQL databases, REST APIs, and frontend frameworks (Angular/React).

The base salary for Newark, DE is $95k–$105k per year, with a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for growth within a global consulting firm.

Qualifications

• Strong hands‑on experience with Java 17 or higher.
• Proficiency in Spring Boot, Spring Security, Spring Data, and microservices architecture.
• Experience with Apache Kafka and REST API development.
• Knowledge of NoSQL databases and data modeling.
• Experience with Angular or React.js, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Familiarity with Git, Docker, CI/CD, and cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
• Experience with testing tools such as JUnit, Mockito, Jest, or Cypress.
• Strong problem‑solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain full-stack applications using Java and modern frontend technologies.
• Build scalable microservices using Spring Boot and Spring Cloud.
• Design and integrate secure RESTful APIs.
• Work with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, Cassandra, DynamoDB, or Redis.
• Develop responsive user interfaces using Angular or React.js.
• Write unit and integration tests, perform code reviews, and troubleshoot application issues.
• Collaborate with product, QA, architecture, and DevOps teams in an Agile environment.
• Contribute to CI/CD, cloud deployment, and application performance improvements.
