Job summary

Interclypse Inc. in Maryland seeks an Applications Development Expert to design, develop, and integrate enterprise-grade software. You will deliver Java-based solutions, advocate best practices, and mentor teams across multiple disciplines in a growth-minded environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field or equivalent work experience (Master’s preferred).
• Seven years IT/business experience with at least 3 years of RESTful API development/consumption.
• At least 2 years in SOA/Web Services and security integration.
• At least 1 year defining and maintaining architectural frameworks, patterns, and data structures.

Responsibilities

• Provide design recommendations based on long-term IT strategy.
• Develop enterprise applications and integrations with major enhancements.
• Lead cross-disciplinary efforts and act as expert resource.
• Develop standards, architectures, and code reuse through patterns.
• Apply current development methodologies and research new tech.
• Serve as internal consultant, mentor, and change agent.
• Design, develop, and implement complex Java solutions and frameworks.
• Translate requirements into web-based solutions using recommended frameworks.
