Pyramid Consulting, Inc. is seeking a Java Full Stack Developer for a 12+ month on-site contract in Plano, TX. The role emphasizes backend platform engineering, RESTful services, and automation across infrastructure and cloud teams.

Qualifications

5+ years of professional software development experience.
Expert-level proficiency in Java and modern software engineering practices.
Hands-on experience building RESTful APIs, microservices.
Experience developing automation solutions for infrastructure/platform engineering.
Strong understanding of infrastructure-as-code and API-driven automation principles.
Proficiency with Linux and scripting languages for automation and troubleshooting.
Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise-grade software using Java and Spring Boot.
Build RESTful APIs and microservices for automation of provisioning, configuration, lifecycle, and workflows.
Develop platform automation for compute, storage, networking, virtualization, and HCI services.
Engineer infrastructure-as-code and API-driven automation for standardized deployments.
Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines to support delivery and lifecycle management.
Collaborate with infra architects and cloud teams to define automation requirements.
