This position involves developing Java-based applications, supporting both legacy and modern systems, and working across teams with diverse technologies such as Java, Angular, and shell scripting. Responsibilities include designing and implementing new features, ensuring testing coverage, deploying on Linux and cloud containers, and troubleshooting issues to maintain system stability.

Job Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with BAs and architects to understand requirements and develop technical solutions.
• Develop web-based front-end and back-end components using approved technologies.
• Create and execute unit tests for all new and modified functionalities.
• Monitor system processes and review alerts to preempt issues.
• Document environmental procedures and contribute to procedural improvements.
• Investigate and resolve complex issues, working with development teams to enhance system stability.
• Work with cross-functional teams to address data quality issues.
• Innovate to improve team productivity using available tools.
• Follow policies and contribute to process enhancements.
• Estimate effort accurately and meet project commitments.

Qualifications:

• Strong technical skills with extensive Java experience.
• Experience with Software Development Lifecycle and delivering cross-location projects.
• Ability to produce technical specifications and perform unit testing with frameworks like JUnit, Mockito, TestNG, Cucumber.

Required Skills:

• 5-8 years of core Java experience.
• 4+ years with Spring Boot, Java messaging EMS, REST services.
• 2+ years UI development with Angular (from version 5) and Bootstrap.
• 2+ years experience with ECS Containers.
• Knowledge of Hibernate, Unix/Linux commands, and CRUD operations on MongoDB and Oracle.

Additional Details:

Position based in Tampa, FL. Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. or willing to relocate. Salary range: $96,960 - $145,440. Benefits include health coverage, 401(k), insurance, wellness programs, and paid time off.
