Job summary

Infosys is seeking an experienced Java Full Stack Developer to design, build, and maintain end-to-end web applications using Java, Spring, Spring Boot, and modern front-end frameworks such as React or Angular. You will implement RESTful APIs and microservices with a focus on performance, security, and scalability.

You'll collaborate with product owners, architects, and QA in Agile sprints, mentor junior developers, and contribute to code quality through reviews.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelors or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (BTech, BE, ME, MCA, BCA, MSc, BSc).
• Experience: 5–8 years of hands‑on experience in Java Full Stack Development.
• Strong proficiency in Java with solid experience using Spring and Spring Boot for backend development.
• Practical experience with React and/or Angular for building modern, responsive web interfaces.
• Proven experience in end‑to‑end application development including design, coding, testing, and deployment.
• Working knowledge of Agile methodologies and participation in Agile development teams.
• Solid understanding of RESTful services, JSON, and web application architecture.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain end‑to‑end web applications using Java, Spring, Spring Boot, and modern front‑end frameworks like React and Angular.
• Implement RESTful APIs and microservice‑based components ensuring high performance, security, and scalability.
• Develop responsive, intuitive UI components and pages, integrating them seamlessly with backend services.
• Collaborate with product owners, architects, and QA to refine requirements, estimate effort, and deliver high‑quality features in iterative Agile sprints.
• Write clean, testable, and maintainable code following coding standards, code reviews, and best practices.
• Integrate and deploy applications on AWS leveraging cloud‑native services where applicable.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize applications across the stack to improve reliability and performance.
• Contribute to technical design and architecture discussions, proposing improvements and new approaches.
• Mentor and guide junior developers, sharing best practices in full stack development and Agile delivery.
• Participate actively in Agile ceremonies (stand‑ups, sprint planning, retrospectives) and foster a collaborative team culture.
