Job summary

Infosys is seeking a Technology Consultant 2 in the Tampa area to contribute across the full software lifecycle with a focus on Java/Spring Boot/React/Node.js and Oracle DB. You will work with AI tooling (Claude/Gemini) and microservices, driving design decisions, coding, testing, and deployment.

The role emphasizes cross‑functional collaboration, documentation, and delivering reliable software while supporting production environments and knowledge sharing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required.
• Experience with end‑to‑end SDLC, requirement elicitation and design discussions.
• Proficiency in Java/Springboot/React/Node.js and Oracle DB.
• Knowledge of AI tools (Claude, Gemini) and vector search is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Document business requirements and guide design decisions.
• Contribute to software design discussions and maintain code quality.
• Develop features, integrate updates, and ensure system stability.
• Perform code reviews and manage code repositories.
• Implement test strategies and coordinate bug fixes.
• Create training materials and support frameworks for users.
• Resolve production issues and suggest preventive measures.
• Maintain comprehensive records of code, tests and activities.
