Job summary

Capgemini is seeking a skilled Angular + Java Full Stack Developer in New York to design and develop scalable enterprise applications. You will build robust front-end solutions with Angular and backend services with Java (Spring Boot / Microservices).

Responsibilities include building dynamic web apps, integrating REST APIs, and ensuring security and performance. A strong background in Angular, Java, and microservices is required, along with collaboration with cross-functional teams.

We are looking for a skilled Angular + Java Full Stack Developer to design and develop scalable enterprise applications. The role involves building robust front-end solutions using Angular and developing backend services using Java (Spring Boot / Microservices).

Key Responsibilities

• Develop dynamic, responsive web applications using Angular (v10+)
• Design and implement backend services using Java (Spring Boot)
• Build and consume RESTful APIs and microservices
• Collaborate with product owners, architects, and QA teams
• Write clean, scalable, and efficient code following best practices
• Implement security, performance, and data protection standards
• Integrate UI components with backend services
• Perform code reviews, debugging, and optimization
• Maintain and improve existing systems

Required Skills

Frontend (Angular)

• Strong experience in Angular (v8+ / latest versions preferred)
• Experience with RxJS and state management (NgRx preferred)
• Familiarity with Angular Material / Bootstrap
• Experience with REST API integration
• Strong hands-on experience with Java 8+
• Expertise in Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security)
• Experience with Microservices architecture
• Strong understanding of RESTful API development
• Familiarity with Hibernate / JPA

Database Skills

• Experience in Relational databases (Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL)
• Knowledge of NoSQL databases (MongoDB preferred)
• Strong SQL/query optimization skills"

The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is: $70000 - $85000

Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws. The base compensation range listed for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation Capgemini, in good faith, believes it may pay for the role at the time of this posting.
