Capgemini in Irving, TX is hiring a Java Full Stack Engineer with 10+ years of experience to build enterprise APIs using Java and Spring Boot. You will design scalable backend services, work with RESTful APIs, messaging with Kafka, and deploy modern cloud-native apps on AWS.

You will also use Docker and Kubernetes for containerized deployments, implement CI pipelines with Jenkins, manage databases (Oracle/CockroachDB) with PL/SQL, and collaborate across teams while applying AI-assisted tooling

Job Description

10+ years full stack software development experience building enterprise APIs and core Java with Spring/Spring boot.

Experience with web services - JSON, XML, REST, SOAP, etc.

Experience designing event driven micro services architect and real-time streaming ingestion pipelines using technologies such as Kafka

Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and AWS cloud deployment/application management.

Experience building complex PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions for sub-second query response times and high-throughput data access for critical business applications using database like oracle, cockroachDB etc

Experience with unit testing and test automation libraries/strategies.

Experience leveraging AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT) to improve engineering productivity and code quality

Experience building and deploying applications using continuous integration pipelines and automated deployment tools such as Jenkins.

Experience using source control and pull requests for collaborative development in code repository tools such as GitHub.

Strong communications and problem-solving skills

The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is: 100000 to 118650

Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws. The base compensation range listed for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation Capgemini, in good faith, believes it may pay for the role at the time of this posting.
