Job summary

RMantra Solutions seeks a senior developer to support applications in a cloud-based, enterprise environment, focusing on learning new technologies to optimize efficiency and performance. You will work independently or within small to mid-sized teams within a dynamic delivery setup.

On-site support in Ashburn, VA is required two days per week; travel to the DC area may be needed. Must be a US citizen and able to obtain CBP background clearance.

Qualifications

• Must have experience with Harness, Gitlab, Confluence, Jira and Agile development.
• DHS BI clearance will be required.
• Develop test cases for testers to use during the testing phase.

This position REQUIRES onsite support in Ashburn, VA, 2 times a week

Shift

The position is focused on delivering performance-based IT services and repeatable solutions. Our team is looking for a developer that can support applications in a cloud-based, large-scale enterprise environment with the goal of learning new technologies to optimize efficiency and improve performance. As such, this individual must be able to manage assigned tasks and solve technical problems and be able to work well individually and in small to medium-sized teams. The development role will be one of many within a team of 10+ people, and close interactions with other agile delivery teams across PSPD, CBP, and external applications will be necessary for success.

Primary Responsibilities

• Over 10 years of experience with the following: Java, Sprint-Boot, Maven, React, Angular languages/frameworks/testing
• Must be able to maintain and obtain a CBP Background Investigation prior to start
• Must be a US citizen
• Experience in Troubleshooting problems
• Good Customer interaction and communication including working with other teams to develop requirements
• Good communication skills including documentation and ticket resolution
• On rare occasions, be willing to support the contract in evening, weekend, and holidays is ever needed
• Willing to travel to the DC area once or twice a week (on-site visits to Ashburn)
• Can work with a team or independently
• Looking into logs to determine cause of issues.
