Java Full Stack Developer (Officer) - Hybrid

The Reference Data Management (RDM) is part of the Information Services Group (ISG), supporting Citi's various services. RDM provides centralized data and operations platforms for accounts, pricing, securities, corporate actions, KYC, and loans pledging.

The Java Full Stack Developer (Applications Development Intermediate Programmer Analyst - C11) is responsible for participating in the development and implementation of new or revised application systems in coordination with the Technology team. The role involves contributing to project delivery within schedule, quality, and scope, participating in all SDLC stages in a hybrid environment, and implementing vendor products at Citi. It also includes code enhancements, support during infrastructure activities, debugging, and responding to user queries through data and code analysis.

Responsibilities:
  • Utilize development procedures and concepts, identify system enhancements, analyze/interprete code using scripting tools.
  • Consult with users, clients, and tech teams, recommend solutions, and support customer exposure systems.
  • Apply knowledge of programming languages for design specifications.
  • Analyze applications for vulnerabilities, conduct testing and debugging.
  • Identify problems, analyze information, and implement solutions.
  • Resolve issues using technical experience and precedents.
  • Operate with limited supervision and exercise independent judgment.
  • Assess risks, ensure compliance, and escalate control issues appropriately.
Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of relevant experience in Financial Services.
  • Experience with Java SE/EE 8+.
  • Unix/Linux Shell scripting skills.
  • Intermediate experience in Applications Development.
  • Knowledge of source control, CI solutions, and DevOps (preferred).
  • Experience with Jira, Udeploy, Change control (preferred).
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines.
Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
