Job Summary:

Join our team as a Full Stack Java Developer where you will work closely with a collaborative team of engineers and cross-functional partners to build and maintain enterprise-level software solutions. This role is ideal for someone passionate about applying best practices, developing scalable systems, and staying engaged in the tech community through knowledge sharing and meetups.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop both back-end and front-end components using Java, Spring Boot, and Angular (typically 60% backend / 40% frontend).
• Collaborate with engineers, data teams, business stakeholders, and project managers to deliver elegant and scalable solutions.
• Take ownership of the team’s committed goals and participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle.
• Write clean, maintainable code and support CI/CD pipelines using Git and Agile best practices.
• Utilize SQL and NoSQL databases (Oracle, MySQL, Sybase) and work with messaging platforms like Kafka.
• Engage in TDD using JUnit and Mockito; ensure quality through code reviews and testing practices.
• Deploy and support applications in a hybrid cloud/on-premise environment, with a focus on ongoing system reliability and performance.
• Leverage community knowledge via local meetups and technical forums to stay up to date with trends and technologies.
  
  

Required Qualifications:

• Strong experience in Full Stack Development with Core Java, Spring, Spring Boot, Angular (6+)
• Experience with relational databases such as Oracle, MySQL, or Sybase
• Hands-on experience with Git, Agile methodologies, JUnit, Mockito, and Test Driven Development (TDD)
• Working knowledge of messaging systems such as Kafka
• Familiarity with frontend technologies: HTML/CSS, JavaScript, AngularJS, Web 2.0, JQuery
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Proven experience working on enterprise-level applications
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and organizational skills
  
  

Nice to Have:

• Experience with MyBatis, Hazelcast, JIRA
• Familiarity with containerization and cloud services such as Azure or Docker
• Experience in financial services is a plus
