Awareson Sp. z o.o. is seeking an experienced Fullstack Developer focused on backend development to join a project maintaining business-critical applications. The role involves designing technical solutions, implementing changes, reviewing code, and working in an Agile environment.

You will work with Java 18+, Spring Boot 3+, Angular 19+, PostgreSQL, and related technologies, contributing to system reliability and performance. Polish/English documentation experience is useful.

Formación

• 4+ years of commercial software development experience.
• 3+ years with Java.
• 3+ years with PostgreSQL.
• 2+ years with Angular.
• 2+ years in an Agile environment.
• Strong knowledge of design patterns and architecture.
• Good English for technical docs.
• Scrum experience is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Design and agree on technical solutions, ensuring data integrity, security, architectural quality, and system availability.
• Implement changes and new functionalities per development standards.
• Review code for quality and compliance with standards.
• Refactor to reduce technical debt and maintain a debt register.
• Provide tech support during deployments and maintenance.
• Diagnose and fix UAT defects and production issues.
• Estimate effort for changes in the system.
• Collaborate with the team in an Agile environment.

About the project

We are looking for an experienced Fullstack Developer with a strong focus on backend development to join a project involving the development and maintenance of business-critical applications.

Responsibilities

• Design and agree on technical solutions, ensuring data integrity, security, architectural quality, system availability, and consideration of technical debt.
• Implement agreed changes and new functionalities in accordance with established development standards.
• Review code delivered by team members and other developers, ensuring compliance with coding standards and technical requirements.
• Identify and prevent technical debt by initiating refactoring activities and contributing to the system technical debt register.
• Provide technical and programming support during solution deployments and application maintenance.
• Diagnose, analyze, and resolve UAT defects and production issues identified through monitoring.
• Estimate the effort required to implement changes in the system.
• Collaborate with the team in an Agile environment.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of commercial software development experience.
• At least 3 years of experience with Java.
• At least 3 years of experience working with PostgreSQL.
• At least 2 years of experience with Angular.
• At least 2 years of experience working in an Agile development environment.
• Good knowledge of design patterns and architectural principles.
• Good command of English, sufficient for working with technical documentation.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies; Scrum experience is an advantage.
• Strong ownership, self-organization, and the ability to adapt quickly to changing requirements.
• Openness to collaboration, feedback, and new ideas.

Technical skills

• Backend: Java 18+, Spring Boot 3+, JPA
• Frontend: Angular 19+, TypeScript, Node.js
• Databases and integration: PostgreSQL, REST API, SOAP, Apache Kafka
• Development tools and build automation: Git, Bitbucket/GitHub, Maven, Gradle, Jenkins, GitHub Actions
