Capgemini in New York is seeking a senior software engineer to join a hybrid team in NY, US. You will work on modern web and backend platforms, leveraging Java, Spring Boot, and microservices to deliver scalable solutions for financial services clients.

The role requires hands-on experience with Angular/React, Python, SQL/NoSQL databases, and strong collaboration with cross-functional teams. Face-to-face interviews are required.

Job Description

Required Skills

• 7 years of solid hands-on experience using Angular (JavaScript)/React, Core Java, Spring Boot, Microservice architecture, Hazle cast (Distributed Cache)
• Hands on experience in Python is required.
• Mobile development experience is preferred.
• AI SDLC - Spec Driven Design AI development experience, Design/development reimagine workflows using Agentic orchestration.
• Hands on experience with MS SQL/RDBMS or NoSQL MongoDB including complex SQL, Stored Proc and performance tuning.
• Good problem-solving skills, Analytical, Self Driven, Passion for innovation.
• Good communication and presentation skills: ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner, across all stakeholder groups and with staff from junior to senior levels

Desired skills

• Good understanding of financial markets, various capital market assets class with focus on Equity, Banking or Financial industry project experience.
• Experience with Co-pilot and Spec Driven Development, AI proficiency, Agentic orchestration of business process.

The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is: 90000 to 96655

Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws. The base compensation range listed for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation Capgemini, in good faith, believes it may pay for the role at the time of this posting.
