Job summary

Kforce has a client in Jersey City, NJ seeking a Java Full Stack Developer. Responsibilities include designing, developing, testing, and deploying new code to meet business needs and delivering high-quality, scalable software.

Applicants should have 5+ years in Java/J2EE with Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, and experience with Kubernetes, AWS, Docker, and CI/CD. Prior experience in Agile environments is preferred, with ability to drive complex projects end-to-end.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of application development using Java/J2EE.
• 5+ years developing across UI, middle/services, back end/database.
• 3+ years Spring Boot and Spring Integration.
• 1+ years JMS providers (ActiveMQ/IBM MQ/RabbitMQ) with Spring boot integrations.
• Proficiency in OO and functional languages (Java, JavaScript).
• Experience managing teams in Agile environments.
• Experience implementing RESTful APIs.
• Experience with Java, Kubernetes, and AWS/Azure or other cloud providers.

Requirements

• 5+ years of application development using Java, J2EE
• 5+ years of developing at all levels of the application stack (front end/UI, middle/services and back end/database)
• 3+ years of Spring boot and Spring Integration development experiences
• 1+ years of development experience on JMS Providers like Apache ActiveMQ, IBM MQ, & RabbitMQ with Spring boot framework integrations and understanding of message queuing concepts and protocols
• High-energy, detail-oriented and proactive with the ability to function under pressure in an independent environment
• Proficiency with object-oriented and functional languages (e.g. Java, J2EE JavaScript)
• Technical knowledge of analysis, design, development, documentation, testing, and deployment of platform user interface features
• Experience managing teams in Agile environments
• Experience with Java/J2EE and Java frameworks
• Experience implementing and maintaining RESTful APIs
• Advanced knowledge of application, data, and infrastructure architecture disciplines
• Experience with Java, Kubernetes, and AWS, Azure, or any cloud provider

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
