Job summary

Infosys is seeking a Technology Consultant 1 in Boston, MA, to drive SDLC activities across banking, wealth management, and insurance tech deployments. You will design, code, test, and troubleshoot backend and frontend components, collaborating with DevOps and cloud architects to deliver scalable microservices.

The role emphasizes an agile mindset, cross-functional teamwork, and hands-on delivery of modern software solutions with AWS and CI/CD tools in a fast-changing environment.

Qualifications

• Hands-on expertise in Java, Python, Spring Boot, including API development, microservices, and backend architecture.
• Experience with AWS cloud environments, AWS Cloud Migration and services with exposure to EKS, CloudFront, SQS, Glue, Document DB.
• Hands-on experience in Angular or React JS.
• Experience in Full stack development.

Responsibilities

• Assist in conducting targeted interviews and workshops to capture user needs, and ensure accurate documentation of stakeholder requirements
• Participate in design discussions to capture software specifications, and aid in creation of process documentation.
• Develop, refine, and document code for new software applications, following detailed design specifications to meet user requirements
• Execute test plans, analyse outcomes, and report defects to the development team, to facilitate enhancement of software performance
• Support the integration of new software features, facilitating smooth transitions within the existing system infrastructure
• Monitor and troubleshoot live applications, ensuring prompt resolution of issues and creation of comprehensive documentation for ongoing system maintenance
• Systematically document coding practices, testing methodologies, and technical solutions, thereby enriching team's knowledge repository

In the assigned Job Role of Technology Consultant 1, your Area Of Responsibility will be as below:

Required Skill And Experience

Preferred Skill And Experience

• Strong understanding of Microservices architecture, including best practices for logging, exception handling, and scalability.
• Working knowledge of Oracle and/or AWS Aurora (PostgreSQL).
• Experience collaborating with DevOps and Cloud Architects in CI/CD environments using Jenkins, TeamCity, Octopus Deploy.
• Build reusable frameworks and components as per the reference architecture.
• Hands on Experience of EKS
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum development and cross-functional team collaboration.

Additional Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
