Job summary

Gemini Solutions Pvt Ltd in Austin, TX is seeking a software engineer to analyze entity relationships, design data flows, and implement robust REST services.

You will work with Oracle and SQL Server, apply version control (SVN/Git), contribute to automated tests and unit tests, and collaborate with a cross‑functional team including the technical lead, product manager and designer to deliver high‑quality software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Experience with REST services across platforms.
• Hands-on with Oracle and SQL Server; relational DB design and data relationships.
• Proficient with SVN or Git for version control.
• Experience implementing automated testing and unit tests.
• Ability to work with a cross-functional team (tech lead, PM, designer).

Job description

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Expertise using REST services (independent of the application platform)
• Hands-on experience with Oracle/ SQL Server; Knowledge of Relational Databases, SQL. Ability to define data flow and high level data design and data relationships.
• Working Knowledge of code versioning tools, such as SVN or Git.
• Have a good working knowledge of implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests
• Ability to work with a cross functional team - Technical lead, Product Manager and Designer to understand user needs and requirements.
• Ability & willingness to take ownership
• Flexible teammate who cooperates with team members and adapts easily to changing priorities.
• Experience with AWS Cloud technologies (preferred)
