Job description

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, reliable Java code.
• Create secure RESTful-based web services using XML, JSON, JavaScript, and jQuery.
• Develop applications using Java, Spring Boot, microservices, Spring & Hibernate frameworks.
• Write code in core Java, J2EE, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
• Troubleshoot T-SQL stored procedures, functions, tables, views, triggers, indexes, and constraints.
• Implement and maintain Java-based components, interfaces, and documentation.
• Define, design, integrate, test, deploy, and enhance applications and tools written in Java.
• Troubleshoot SQL Server service outages when they occur.
• Utilize SQL knowledge to query and identify useful information.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 8 years of experience in Java development.
• Expertise in Java, J2EE, Spring, Hibernate, and EJB.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented design principles using Java.
• Experience with Maven, TestNG, API automation, and Java frameworks.
• Proficiency in SQL and database query languages like EJB-QL.
• Hands‑on experience developing applications with front‑end and back‑end web‑based solutions.
• Knowledge of Spring framework, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with NoSQL and relational databases such as MySQL, Hadoop, MongoDB, etc.
• Understanding of distributed computing tools like Hadoop, Hive, Spark, etc.
• Excellent communication skills and a good command of the Java programming language.

Desirable Skills

• Experience with Azure services, such as Azure Data Lake Analytics and U‑SQL.
